Gretchen Carlson is an American journalist, author, and former television commentator. She is popular for being included in ‘Time Magazine 2017’ as the 100 Most Influential People In The World.

Carlson moved to the Fox News television channel in 2005 and became the co-host of the morning show titled ‘Fox & Friends’ alongside Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade.

She announced her departure from ‘Fox & Friends’ in 2013. Soon after leaving, she launched a new program named ‘The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson’. On June 23, 2016, her contract with Fox News expired.

Carlson graduated from Stanford University, where she studied organizational behavior. Carlson spent a study-abroad year at Oxford University, studying the works of Virginia Woolf, and was later named to the inaugural class of the Anoka High School Hall of Fame back in 2011.
