Heather Van Norman Biography
Heather Van Norman is an American Head Coach and former track runner who is famous for being the mother of Odell Beckham Jr who is a famous NFL player currently playing for the New York Giants. Odelle has often prosed his mother and said that he owes his career successes to his supportive mum.
Back to Heather, she attended Lousiana State University where she met Odell Beckman Sr. during one of his LSU games. At the time he played as a running back (from 1989-1992). Heather’s coaching career began at Rice, where after two years she moved to become an assistant coach. Fortunately, in 2002, she was named the head coach at Tulane University and spent the next seven years producing student-athletes.
She has coached one All-American in Gloria Asumnu, along with 144 all-conference nominations. They ended up winning 14 conference USA individual titles in various events thanks to Van Norman. In addition, her teams also competed well in the classroom as 70 of her individual team members made the c-USA Academic Honor Roll.
