Hilary Farr Biography
Hilary Farr is a British Canadian designer, entrepreneur, TV host, and former actress. She is famously known for starring in the HGTV and W Network TV series Love It or List It together with David Visentin.
She is the president of Hilary Farr’s Designs which was established in Toronto and New York. When she moved to Los Angeles she renovated very many houses and that is how her career started. Though for small roles, she has also appeared in films such as ‘Layout for 5 Models, Sex Farm, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. She has also primarily worked as an interior designer in many countries.
Farr took an interest in theatre and was introduced to interior design as she helped her mother to decorate her childhood home. She performed a singing role in Grease in London in 1973.
In Toronto, Edmonton, and, Vancouver, Farr had guest appeared in a number of Canadian International Interior Design Shows. She has also featured Ross Petty’s stage version of Sleeping Beauty at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto, and she played the role of Malignicent.
