Ivory Hecker is an American journalist who has been the proprietor of Ivory Media LLC since August 2021. She covers the stories that matter most to people who value their individual liberty, free of corporate tyranny and special interests.
Hecker previously worked at Fox Television Station as a reporter and anchor from September 2017 until August 2021. She worked for KRIV-TV, a Fox-owned television station in Houston, Texas, as a weekend general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor.
Ivory grew up in Hayward, California. Hayward High School was her alma mater. She developed a flair for public speaking and broadcast journalism at a young age. This led her to Syracuse University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. She covered several national breaking news items live from the scene, including Prince’s death, the police shootings of Jamar Clark and Philando Castile, and the ensuing protests and riots. Hecker also served as an investigative reporter for WLEX in Lexington, Kentucky. She worked as a reporter at WACH in Columbia before joining WLEX, where she covered the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.
