While there, she edited, filmed, and reported stories for daily live newscasts. In addition, she wrote news stories for the web and broadcast. Before joining KAKE-TV, she worked in Edmond, Oklahoma as a news anchor and reporter at the University of Central Oklahoma where she worked from September 2016 to November 2017. While at the station, she helped the producer on assignment, reported, anchored, edited, and filmed stories for the daily live newscasts.
Prior to that, she served as a news writer at KFOR News 4 from December 2016 to October 2017. She wrote news stories for broadcast and web, listened to police scanners for breaking news, interacted with viewers through telephone and web, and worked with reporters and photographers.
Her career on the other hand began in Oklahoma City where she worked as a promotions assistant at Tyler Media. While there, her main roles included representing and promoting 92.9 The Edge and V103 at concerts and other local events.
