Jaclyn Allen is an American two-time Emmy award-winning multimedia journalist currently working as a weekend anchor and the leading Contact7 consumer investigative reporter at Denver 7 (KMGH-TV)since January 2007. Before that, she worked as a full-time reporter at KJRH in Tulsa, Oklahoma from 2003 to 2006 December.
Jaclyn went to the University of Oklahoma graduating with a summa cum laude, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Musical Arts in Journalism/ Music and French. Her junior year was abroad at the Universite Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand, France. Nevertheless, in her college career, she also served as an associate producer, research assistant, and assignment editor at KOCO-TV, an ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City.
Allen has also worked as an anchor and reporter for 12 Media KXII Television, Sherman/ Denison, Texas Area from 2001 to 2003. In addition, she bagged a Heartland Emmy award for her Human Interest reporting in 2018. Nevertheless, Allen has also been a nominee for the Emmy awards a total of 20 times. Jaclyn also bagged the CABJ awards for Investigative Reporting and News reporting.
