Janet Paschal is an American inspirational gospel musician, vocalist, and writer often recognized to have the best vocals in Christian Music. She was born on 18th October 1956 in Reidsville, North Carolina.
She was brought up in a musically gifted Christian family. Her granddad, a preacher, played a very important role in her inspirational life.
After her high school graduation, Paschal qualified to join the LeFevre’s, a gospel-singing family. Later, the group rebranded to Rex Nelon Singers after the latter Lefevre quit the group.
From that point, she turned into a member of the TV minister Jimmy Swaggart’s Crusade Team. In 1986, Paschal started her performance profession, releasing her first collection titled, I Give You Jesus on Jimmy Swaggart’s service label, Shiloh Records. A few different collections were pursued, yet none picked up the success that would happen after Janet’s 1992 move to Nashville, Tennessee.
As a Gospel vocalist, she is known for her collection The Good Road, which she released in 1997. She additionally composed a book of a similar name and has performed in spots like Carnegie Hall and The Sydney Opera House.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 but later survived after a year-long battle with the chronic disease.
