Janice Rogers is a renowned American journalist who currently works as a news anchor and producer for Good day Alabama at WBRC Fox 6 News. Prior to joining WBRC, Janice worked at Channel 13 as a videotape editor and general assignment reporter.
She worked as an intern at WBRC while studying Broadcast Journalism at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Janice also worked as an intern at the local NBC affiliate. While there, she began her on-air career as a general reporter and videotape editor for Channel 13. Janice was then promoted to weekend reporter, Eastern Alabama Bureau Chief, mid-day anchor, and subsequently weekend anchor.
WBRC was lucky to woo Janice away from “next door” and hire her to anchor the news in September 1994. Janice has been quite busy since her arrival. She currently co-anchors and produces Good Day Alabama.
Her strong ties to the community, as well as her dedication to service and family, have won her hundreds of fans and coworkers. Rogers is thrilled to be a part of the WBRC FOX6 News team.
