Janine Marie Elizabeth de Leon Gutierrez also known as Janine Gutierrez, is a Filipino actress, television host, model, and singer. Gutierrez is popular for being a member of the infamous Gutierrez clan of actors. She is also known for appearing in films and shows like “Makapiling Kang Muli”, “Lila”, “Dagsin”, “and Dragon Lady” among many others. Currently, Elizabeth is an exclusive talent of ABS-CBN.
Marie was born and brought up in Quezon City, Philippines. She attended the all-girls school St. Paul College in Pasig, Philippines. Later on, she furthered her studies at Ateneo de Manila University majoring in European Studies. Gutierrez rose to fame after playing Rosa in the daytime romance Dangwa. Jenine is known for her performances on shows like Wagas as well as in films like 2015’s Buy Now, Die Later. Due to her work in the film, Elizabeth was nominated at the PMPC Star Awards for“Best Drama Actress” on television. Prior to that, she also received awards for “Best Supporting Actress” at the Urduja Heritage Film Festival and at Gawad Urian nomination.
