Jeané Coakley is a famous American Emmy award-winning journalist originally from the United States. She is currently known for working as an anchor and sports reporter at SNY TV where she also airs the entertainment news. SportsNite, Daily News Live, and Loud Mouths are the tasks that put her on the big screens.
Coakley was born in Newport News, Virginia, and raised in New York. Being the second born in a family of five, she grew up trying to catch up with her brothers. Notably, Coakley is a self-proclaimed tomboy, playing soccer, volleyball, softball, and even gymnastics.
She received numerous awards for her excellent performance in sports. However, she figured out that since she was not going to be a professional athlete, then she might be the next best thing. This was getting paid to watch and talk sports.
After her graduation from the Quinnipiac University in Hamden, she moved to Billings, Montana where she worked as a news producer. She later got her first on-air sports job at KYMA in Yuma, Arizona. When Jeane is not in the sports news, she’s probably running a marathon in the state she is living in. In addition, every time she has a chance to try new things, she goes for it. For instance, she went skydiving with the Army’s Golden Knights, flew with the Navy’s Blue Angels, and also drove a NASCAR. In summary, she just likes trying to turn the world on with her smile.
