Jeff Glor (Jeffrey Todd Glor) is a renowned American journalist currently serving as the co-host of CBS This Morning Saturday ad a CBS News special correspondent. Previously, Glor was anchoring the CBS Evening News.

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Jeff attended Kenmore East High School, a public high school in Tonawanda, New York. He later joined Syracuse University, where he graduated in 1997 with dual degrees in journalism and economics. At the university, he was awarded the Henry J. Wolff prize, an award given to the Newhouse student “most proficient in journalism”.

Todd Glor began his career as a co-anchor of WSTM-TV Syracuse’s 5 p.m. newscast and reporter for the 11 p.m. newscast, working from 2000 through 2003. This was after he had served as a morning news anchor for the station starting 1997 to 2000. He joined the station as a part-time producer while still at Syracuse University.

For his notable performance, Jeff was named “Best Male News Anchor” by Syracuse News-Times as well as one of the 40 most promising professionals under 40. In addition, he worked as a contributing researcher and writer on The Legal Handbook for N.Y. State Journalists.

Between 2003-2007, Glor worked as a weekend evening news anchor and weekend reporter for WHDH in Boston., In 2007, he joined CBS News, starting as a co-anchor and later a newsreader on the Saturday Early Show.

Beginning 2009-2010, he started anchoring the Saturday edition of the CBS Evening News. At the same time, he started to report for other broadcasts; the CBS Evening News and CBS Sunday Morning, for which he won an Emmy award.
