Jemima Kirke is a famous British-American actress, artist and director who rose to fame for playing the role of Johannson in a famous HBO series called Girls. She is also known for making her film debut in a famous short film called Smile for the Camera. Kirke’s other famous roles are in films and TV Shows like Tiny Furniture, Untogether, Sylvie’s Love, Axe Cop and a guest voice role on The Simpsons.
Kirke was born in London to British natives who relocated to New York City when she was just a five-year-old girl. Therefore, she grew up in America in a working-class environment alongside her two sisters. Jemima finished her high school studies in her hometown New York City. She then received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2008.
