Jennifer Jordan is a two-time Emmy award-winning American journalist who currently works as a reporter for FOX 8. Jordan began working for WJW-TV FOX 8 News in January 2012 as a noon anchor and evening reporter.
Jennifer completed her education at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she earned a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism. Jennifer is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Association of Black Journalists. Ashley was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame at Peekskill High School in 2013.
Jordan has also won various community awards for her commitment to covering local news and volunteering for a variety of local charities. Jordan worked as a freelance general assignment reporter for WPIX-TV/CW11 before joining FOX 8. She also worked at the station as a fill-in anchor.

Jordan worked as a Westchester correspondent and general assignment reporter for WCBS-TV in New York before joining Fox & My 9. As part of the award-winning team, Jennifer was nominated for two Emmy awards for the mass transit strike. Previously, Jordan anchored the 10 pm newscasts at News 12 Westchester.
She won two Emmy Awards during her time there, one for On-Camera achievement. The second for a multi-part, hard-hitting investigation titled, “Predator Next Door.” Earlier, Jordan anchored the weekend newscasts at WFIE-TV in Evansville, Indiana. Prior to that, she was a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor for WBKO-TV in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
