Jennifer McDermed is a renowned American meteorologist and weather forecaster, currently working at Fox 9 KMSP News Station. She serves as a weather forecaster. Previously, McDermed worked at KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Immediately after Jennifer graduated from the university, she began her career at KQTV. where she did a short stint. She then moved to WHO-TV 13 in Des Moines, Lowa serving as a meteorologist. In December 2015, McDermed left the station and joined KMBC, in Kansas City. She served the station for two years. However, her move of leaving the station was described as bittersweet.
Moreover, Jennifer covered many tornadoes in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. One of the biggest tornadoes she covered in her career was an F4 in Lyons, Kansas, in 2012. Despite her interest in the weather, she likes volleyball and basketball games, hiking, kayaking, and triathlons.
