He is also the founder of Jesse Duplantis Ministries. He preaches about prosperity and abundance which is often referred to as the Prosperity gospel in his ministry. Since founding the Jesse Duplantis Ministries, he has expanded his influence to both Australia and the United Kingdom.

However, he was on the Board of Regents of Oral Roberts University, a private evangelical university in Tusla, Oklahoma, which awarded him an honorary doctorate until late 2007 when he resigned with his other fellow regents.
