Jessica Boyington is an American journalist who works as a reporter for 6ABC in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In May of this year, she joined the 6ABC Action News crew. Boyington previously worked as a weekday morning traffic reporter for NBC 10 News in Pennsylvania. She began working for NBC 10 News in the Greater Philadelphia Area in April of 2015 and stayed for six years.
Jessica previously worked as a traffic reporter at CBS 3 Hamilton in Philadelphia, where she started in March 2012 and left in March 2015. She also co-hosted a number of popular local radio programs.
Boyington has also held the title of Miss New Jersey USA after winning the competition. In 2017, she made headlines when she refused a fellow contestant’s claim that President Donald Trump ogled numerous pageant contestants in a dressing room. Jessica explained that the candidates were given advance information that Trump and his wife Melania would be entering the dressing room and that the former president personally greeted each of them, making them feel at ease.
Boyington is also an animal advocate who enjoys spending her leisure time with her two Jack Russell Terriers, Taz, and Rocky, as well as remaining active and is a trained tap, jazz, and hip hop, dancer.
Jessica graduated in 2003 from Paul VI High School, a private Roman Catholic high school in Haddonfield, New Jersey. She later enrolled in Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a specialty in Radio, TV, and Film.
