Jill Washburn is a veteran American meteorologist and weather forecaster who currently works for Fox 2 Detroit. She also worked as a correspondent traffic reporter at WDIV-TV/Metro Network. Prior to joining Fox 2, Jill worked in various media houses including WWJ-TV CBS Detroit where she worked as a weather anchor for First Forecast and First Forecast Mornings on CBS-62 and CW-50 in Detroit in 2009.
She was born in Cleveland and raised in St. Louis. Later on, she moved to Detroit as a high schooler and settled there till date. She attended Michigan State University where she graduated with a degree in Arts in 1993. Years later, Jill attended Penn State University majoring in meteorology in 2013.
