By the time Dolan was finishing his grammar school, he realized that he wanted to become a reporter in New York. He then joined Eyewitness News in 1986 and has since reported on almost every major story around the world including LA Riots, The Oklahoma City Bombing, and civil wars and famine in Africa.
Dolan has reported from more than thirty countries across five continents. He has always had a great love for New York since there was nothing like reporting nightly on neighborhood stories.
