Joanne Feldman is an American meteorologist currently working at FOX 5 in Atlanta, as a Meteorologist. Before joining Fox, Feldman served as a chief meteorologist at WTVD for five years.

She studied meteorology and received a bachelor’s degree in geography at the University of Georgia. While in college, two students were expected in Penn State’s daily weather magazine and Joanne was one of them. Joanne has not interrupted her studies there and has taken part in an American Meteorological Society grant at the Pennsylvania State University. She earned her Master’s in Meteorology from PSU.

Her broadcasting career started when she was one of two graduate students who were chosen for a forecast for “Weather World” the daily weather journal of Penn State. From there, she went as a weekend meteorologist to Fresno, California to work at KMPH. Just after switching to KFSN, she became the news anchor for the radio’s critically acclaimed show in the morning. She was promoted to WTVD in Raleigh, North Carolina after several years of her professional broadcasting and forecasting ability. Joanne spent five years there, including 2003 ‘s Hurricane Isabel landfall, as Chair of the Meteorologists that covered tornado clusters, a historic ice storm, and multiple hurricanes.
In 2007, she joined the FOX 5 network as a meteorologist. She also co-hosted a program Good Day Atlanta. Moreover, in her career, she hit another level. She received the Fox 5 Strom Team Emmy Award.
