Joe Mazur is an American journalist currently working as a Weekend Sports Anchor and a weekday Sports Reporter at ABC 11 Eyewitness News. He joined the station in January of 2001.
Before joining ABC 11 Eyewitness News, Mazur worked as the Sports Director and Weekday Sports Anchor at KFOX in El Paso, Texas. Joe’s career in sports broadcasting kicked off at KJCT-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Mazur has been honored with various awards in his career, including Associated Press Best Sports Cast in 1997,1998, and 1999. In addition, he was nominated for an Emmy for work on a Dallas Cowboys special and awarded the Crystal Award Of Excellence for the same program.
Joe is a native of Fort Collins, Colorado. During his free time, he enjoys watching sports as well as playing them.
