John Hollenhorst Biography
John Hollenhorst is an American journalist who is currently working as a senior correspondent for KSL Television. Prior to this, he worked as a general assignment reporter at WFAA-TV.
Born and raised in Rochester attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor in Journalism and started his reporting career as a print journalist in Minneapolis. In 1975, he moved back to Salt Lake City. He started his broadcasting career by taking a job answering telephones at KSL. Within a few months, he advanced into a television reporter and was given the duty of court specialist for the station.
He worked for two years as a general assignment reporter at WFAA-TV in Dallas and left Salt Lake in 1980. Later in 1981, he cased the nation’s capital as the Assistant Bureau Chief for Bonneville International Corporation and left in 1986. Following this, he returned to KSL later that year.
