John Sartori is a well-known American journalist who has been a sports anchor and reporter for KTAL-News NBC6 since November 2020. He is a proud alumnus of Southeastern Louisiana University and spent four years working at the school’s television station, The Southeastern Channel. He is a native of Mandeville, Louisiana.
John worked as an anchor and reporter for The Big Game, the station’s weekly sports program, and as the host of the station’s bi-weekly Lion Tracks coaches’ talk show while in Hammond.
Sartori received numerous accolades throughout his time in school, including two student Emmys for his on-camera efforts. He also earned the best sports story award from the Collegiate Associated Press in 2019.
Sartori has worked as a play-by-play announcer for a variety of teams and networks. He has called football, baseball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball for ESPN+, Southland Conference Digital Network, and Varsity Sports Now, among other networks.
During the 2017-18 season, Sartori was the voice of Southeastern Lady Lion basketball, and in the summer of 2019, he was the first voice of Fremont Moo baseball, a collegiate summer baseball team based in Fremont, Nebraska.
