Jordan Patrick is a Scottish-Australian actor who is well known for his guest roles in some of the best Australian soap operas. He was cast as Andrew Robinson in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. The character’s back story was changed to accommodate his Scottish accent.
He finished filming Neighbours in 2012. Patrick has since appeared in the feature films Unbroken, Banished, Vikings, and Lovecraft Country.
He was born in Fife and attended St Columbia’s High School. While there, he played football for Dunfermline’s youth academy. During a holiday to Australia in 2001, his family fell in love with the country and decided to emigrate. At the time, Smith was thirteen years old. Later on, he attended Carmel Catholic College.
After finishing school, he took a number of acting courses and appeared in a few commercials. Previously, he appeared in H20: Just Add Water. He has also had roles in Mortified and Home and Away.

While between jobs, he worked as a laborer. In 2009, Smith was offered the role of Andrew Robinson in Neighbours but nearly had to turn it down as he was in the hospital due to an injury he had gotten during his work as a laborer. Fortunately, he did not turn down the role.
He also admits that Neighbours has to change his character’s background story because of his Scottish accent. In addition, he admits that if he was not playing the role of Andrew Robinson he would have liked the role of fellow Neighbours character Lucas Fitzerald. Smith resided with his co-star Chris Milligan while appearing on Neighbours.
However, in November 2012, Neighbours announced that Smith would be leaving. He made his final appearance as Andrew on March 29, 2013. Later on, in 2015, he appeared in the BBC series Banished and joined the cast of Vikings as Ubbe in 2016. In 2020, he played William in the HBO series Lovecraft Country.
