Joyce Napier is a Canadian broadcast journalist currently known for working as a parliamentary bureau correspondent for CTV News based n the Ottawa CTV Bureau, Canada. She joined CTV in 2016 after completing her ten-year tenure with the news division of Societe Radio-Canada which is a French language broadcasting company and CBS News. Napier has been recognized as one of the best journalists who has covered various major political stories like the Conservative and Liberal Party Conventions and Liberal Party convention among other political updates.
Napier was born in Montreal, Quebec but she spent most of her childhood growing up in Europe because of her father’s profession. She grew up as a very sharp young girl who always focused on her life. Therefore, Joyce finished her high school education in Europe and returned to Montreal, Canada at the age of eighteen. She then enrolled at Montreal University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism and communication back in 1997.
Joyce began her career by working as a print reporter for The Globe and Mall print Media as her first job. She also worked for the Canadian Press prior to landing her big break in a Montreal newspaper called La Presse as a field reporter. Her work on CBMT earned her a way to work as a news anchor on CBC’s French Service back in 1992.
