Joyce Taylor is an American Award-winning journalist who is currently working as a news anchor and reporter at KING5 Evening News which is an NBC-affiliate station in Seattle, the United States. She anchors the 5, 6:30, and 11 pm newscasts. Prior to joining her station, she worked as a news anchor at WFMY.
Growing up in Tacoma, Joyce attended a local school in Washington. Later on, she graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, in the United States with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication.
Following her career, she has been working as a journalist for over 32 years and has won six Emmy awards for her work. Most notably, she began working for KING5 Television in 1988 as an evening anchor and reporter. She interviewed United States Presidents, Secretaries of State, sportsmen and women, and ordinary people.
Currently, she anchors the KING5 Morning news and leads a Health and Wellness franchise Get-Fit which is aired on-air and on Facebook live.
