Julianne Pelusi is a multi-skilled American sports journalist currently working at WGRZ. Before joining WGRZ, Pelusi spent six years as a weekend sports anchor/reporter at WTOV-TV in Steubenville, Ohio.
Julianne is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland, with a broadcast journalism degree from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism, and is still a passionate Terps fan.
She started her broadcast career as a talk show host at WMUC Sports Radio in College Park, Maryland. At the station, Pelusi developed and co-hosted a weekly, hour-long sports talk program, “Ladies Love Sports”.
In August 2012, she joined Terps TV in College Park as a videographer. However, after spending 10 months at the station, Julianne moved to Washington D.C. to work as a sports and news intern at WTOP News.
Her next move, landed her at Metro Networks in Washington D.C where she worked as a sports reporter. At the station, Pelusi covered Washington Nationals, Washington Redskins, and Baltimore Orioles. She spent 10 months at the station before moving to Ohio.
At Ohio, Julianne joined Sinclair Broadcast Group as a sports anchor. She produced, wrote, shot, edited, and anchored daily sportscasts. She also led the coverage of Ohio State Football and covered the Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup runs in 2016 and 2017.
