Karen Fukuhara is an American actress, who is best known for her roles in Suicide Squad and Amazon Prime’s original series The Boys. Additionally, she is known for voicing the character Glimmer from the Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and Kipo from Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts.
Fukuhara has tried out many part-time jobs including translator, a waitress at a reggae-themed sushi restaurant, and subtitle editor. Additionally, she is also a martial arts champion who owns a brown-striped belt. She started practicing karate while she was in middle school and also trained in sword fighting.
Moreover, Karen spent 11 years attending a Japanese language school. Later, she attended the University of California, Los Angeles the same time working as a reporter for a sports show on NHK.
