Kate McKinnon is a renowned Emmy Award-winning actress, comedian, and writer famous for casting on ‘Saturday Night Live’ and a star of the all-female reboot of ‘Ghostbusters.’ She is also known for her character work and celebrity impressions on the sketch comedy series The Big Gay Sketch Show (2007–2010) and Saturday Night Live (2012–present).

After graduating from high school, Kate pursued theater at Columbia University in New York City. McKinnon appeared on The Big Gay Sketch Show for several years before joining the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2012. Moreover, she performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade and has written several one-woman shows.
