Kay Adams Biography
Kay Adams is an American sportscaster and television personality. She currently hosts Good Morning Football on NFL Network, along with People, a daily entertainment newsmagazine based on the magazine.
Previously, she had several on-air hosting roles and also served as the host of the Direct TV Fantasy Zone channel during football season.
Adams attended Whitney M. Young Magnet High School. While there, she became interested in a media career. Later on, she enrolled at the University of Missouri and majored in communications, and worked various part-time jobs to pay for her schooling, including bartender at a sports bar and radio personality on the local country, top 40, and sports radio station. From 3 to 8 pm regular, Kay worked at Willie’s Pub and Pool Bar to pay for her university education.
First, in college, her major was journalism, but she later turned to communication. She met several boys and girls in Bar who are all interested in sports and asked them about sports as a casual chat, and by grabbing this opportunity she educated herself.

Early in her career, Kay worked as an in-game host for the St. Louis Cardinals at their home games. Her first appearances in professional football were on SiriusXM’s Livin’ the Fantasy and SiriusXM Fantasy Drive, as well as Direct TV’s NFL Sunday Ticket Fantasy Zone. In addition, she appeared as a guest on Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show on October 17, 2012.
Adams also worked for FanDuel and for NBC Sports Network as a correspondent. She appeared on network shows including The Crossover with Michelle Beadle and NBC Sports Talk on occasion when she was there.
Kay has been one of the hosts of NFL Network’s Good Morning Football since 2016. He hosts the network’s daily morning show all year. She’s also worked for the Chicago Bears as a host for special events.
On September 17, 2018, it was also revealed that Adams would join Sugar Ray Leonard, Brian Kenny, Chris Mannix, and LZ Granderson on the DAZN boxing broadcast crew, which would anchor each fight night broadcast on the live and on-demand sports streaming platform. In 2021, Kay will host a mobile version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, in which the general public can compete for the prize pool.
