Kerry Picket is an American senior campaign reporter for the Washington Examiner and fill-in radio host at SiriusXM Patriot 125. Picket has worked at outlets including the Daily Caller and the Washington Times before she started her reporting career on Capitol Hill.
Prior to that, Kerry produced news for Robin Quivers of The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM, served as a production assistant at MTV.com, and wrote entertainment news for MTV Radio. Moreover, she appeared as a guest commentator on cable news programs and syndicated radio shows.
Kerry attended Danison University between 1992 and 1996 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In January 2000, she joined MTV Networks as a production assistant, serving the network for two years. she then started working as a freelance communications advisor in the Greater New York Area for three years between January 2003 and December 2005.
In January 2005, Kerry relocated to Arlington, Virginia where he served as a Studio coordinator for a year. Eventually, she returned back to New York, this time around working as an assistant in The Howard Stern Show.
Starting January 2007, Kerry worked as a writer for Media Research Center where she wrote the media site Newsbusters.org. She then landed a job as an opinion writer for The Washington Times in 2009.
In December 2014, Picket started her reporting career as a Political reporter for the Daily Caller in the Washington D.C. area. It was while working for the Daily Caller when she landed a job as a Radio Host at SiriusXM.
Currently, Kerry works both as a radio host at SiriusXM and Senor campaign reporter for Washington Examiner.
