Kim Zolciak-Biermann is an American television personality and singer who appeared as one of the original housewives on the reality television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2008. She however left the series in 2012 during the fifth season and returned as a “friend of the housewives” for the show’s 10th season in 2017-2018.
In 2012, she received her own spin-off show ‘Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding’. The show focused on the preparation for her wedding to football player Kroy Biermann. In addition, the series was renewed for a second season with a shortened title, ‘Don’t Be Tardy’, and aired for 8 seasons. The show’s final episode aired on December 29, 2020.
Born in Pensacola, she attended and graduated from East Catholic High School in Manchester, Connecticut in 1996. She later studied nursing at the University of Connecticut. When she turned 21, Kim moved to Atlanta where her parents moved, and eventually settled in the suburbs of John Creek.
Talking about her career as a musician, she began work on a country music album back in 2008. In 2009, she released a debut single, “Tardy for the Party” and the following year, she released a remix EP for the song. Apart from her career as a singer and television personality, Kim is also a passionate businesswoman. She launched a line of skin-care products called Kashmere Kollection in May 2016 and later began working on a perfume also called Kashmere.
