Kjerstin Bell is an Emmy award-winning American journalist who presently anchors for FOX at 10 and KHQ at 11 in Spokane, Washington. She is excited to call the Lilac City home. Bell grew up in Seattle and attended the University of Southern California, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and pursued international relations. Her warm news moment while at campus was flying with the Blue Angels.
Afterward, she moved to Farmington, New Mexico where she worked a s general assignment reporter. Later on, she served as the morning anchor for KOBF-TV. Bell received both Associated Press and New Mexico Broadcasting Association accolades while covering the news in the Land of Enhancement.
In addition, she accepted a job in Spokane where she obtained an Associated Press award for her feature story on the fashion statement called “Nubrella”. She was also recognized with the title “Best TV reporter” by readers of the Inlander newspaper.
Moreover, in 2009, Bell headed to Indianapolis, Indiana joining the award winning morning crew at WXIN-Fox59. While there, she received an Emmy for “Breaking News” from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
