Kris Wu Biography
Kris Wu is a Chinese-Canadian actor, singer, rapper, and model. He is best known for appearing in several box office hits including Mr. Six, Return of Xander Cage, Journey to the West, and xXx. He is also known as the former member of the band EXO and its subgroup EXO-M. Kris has also released several albums and solo tracks as a singer.
Additionally, he made his debut and became one of the most popular K-pop groups in South Korea and internationally. His singing career began when he was a trainee for S.M. Entertainment. While he was in the EXO band, they released the album XOXO and the track Growl. Later, he left the band and released his solo track called Time Boils the Rain.
Moreover, he made an acting debut in Somewhere Only We Know which aired in February 2015. Later he got the chance to star in Mr. Six, Legend of Raving Dynasties, and Never Gone. After featuring in xXx Return of Xander Cage in January 2017, he released the song Juice as part of the soundtrack.
Later, he was cast as Tang Sanzang in Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back which is a Stephen Chow flick. Furthermore, he co-starred in the science fiction movie called Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. He then released the single Deserve in October 2017 where he featured American rapper Travis Scott. Deserve was followed by another track called B.M. Moreover, he still released another track called Miss You where he featured Zhao Liying.

In addition, he attended Guangzhou No 7 Middle School after his mother returned to China. Later, he and his mother went back to Vancouver where he joined Point Grey Secondary School and Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School. Wu auditioned for SM Entertainment’s Canadian global auditions at the age of 18 years. Eventually, he passed the audition and became a trainee for the company where he was given a role in EXO.
