Kyle Clark is a four-time Regional Edward R. Murrow Award-winning journalist currently working as a host, anchor, and reporter for KUSA’s 9News in Denver, Colorado. Clark hosts Next with Kyle Clark, as well as the station’s 9 and 10 p.m. newscasts. He further reports from the scenes of significant events in Colorado and around the nation.
Kyle is a proud graduate of Lyons High School and Ithaca College, which honored him with its Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2015.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Clark founded Word of Thanks, a weekly micro-giving campaign that supports Colorado’s small to mid-sized non-profits. In its first year, Word of Thanks rallied Next viewers to pool their $5 donations to make an impact for a single charity each week, raising $4 million for non-profits across Colorado.

Clark has received over twenty Emmy nominations, including four for Next’s commentary segments, which aim to bridge partisan divides by uniting Coloradans around shared values such as truth, fairness, and accountability.
Clark anchors 9NEWS coverage from communities where news is happening, from the Waldo Canyon and High Park Fires to the 2013 Front Range Floods.
He also covers politics for 9NEWS, moderating debates, hosting town halls, and contributing to fact-checking reporting that has earned four national Walter Cronkite Awards for Excellence in Television Political Journalism.
He came to 9NEWS from 13WHAM in Rochester, New York. Previously, Kyle worked as a reporter for Binghamton, New York’s WBNG-TV. At the age of 15, he began working as a play-by-play broadcaster for high school sports on WACK-AM in Wayne County, New York.
