Regarding her education, Edwards joined the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2001 and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Print Journalism and Spanish. Furthermore, she later joined Boston University in 2005, where she received her Masters of Science in Broadcast Journalism (Sports).
In addition, Lauren is a lover of sports, food, traveling, the color green, the Golden Girls, Chicago-style hot dogs, and all different types of cheese.
