Laurie Dhue is an American broadcast journalist known for working as a FOX News anchor and reporter from early 2000 to 2008. She mainly hosted the station’s Geraldo at Large show and the FOX Report Weekend. Before FOX, she also spent time working as a correspondent for MSNBC for almost a decade. She also appeared as a weekend anchor for WSB News and made occasional appearances on NBC News before finally joining MSNBC News. Laurie even appeared as a guest host on CNN’s sister station.
Dhue was born and raised by a working-class family living in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Her father is a former WWE vice president who provided Laurie with the perfect life while she was growing up. She managed to finish high school in her hometown and go to college.
