Laurie Jennings is an American news reporter and co-anchor best known for working at WPLG Local 10 News, an ABC affiliate station based in South Florida.
Jennings joined high school as many do and eventually proved to be a bright student enough to earn a slot at Cornell University. This is an Ivy League college with great business and communication programs. Later on, Jennings graduated from Cornell University with a degree in political science.
Feeling not yet quenched with her education, she joined Northwestern University, studied, and graduated from the Medill School of Journalism with a master’s degree.
She then started her career in Youngstown, Ohio, where she worked as an anchor and reporter for WKBN-TV. She then relocated to Cleveland, Ohio to work for WJW-TV as an anchor and special unit reporter.
After years at WJW-TV, Laurie relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, where she worked as a morning anchor and general reporter for WHDH-TV. She then moved to Miami to work for WSVN-TV. Jennings broadcasted at the network level for MSNBC for five years before he went back to Florida to work for Local News.
