Lidia Curanaj is an American journalist who currently works as a news presenter for WNYW-TV in New York, a FOX station. She started as a general assignment reporter for WNYW-TV in 2011.
Curanaj was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She went to Cardinal Spellman High School in New York City and graduated there. She was later awarded a full scholarship to Lona College, where she began her studies in Mass Communication and Media Studies.
Lidia also graduated from their curriculum as “Summa-Cum-Laude.” She interned at Random House, Rolling Stone, and The View with Barbara Walters during her college years.
Curanaj earned a job at CBS News after college, working alongside Bob Schieffer, Dan Rather, and Ed Bradley. In 2004, she relocated to South Carolina to pursue her actual ambition of being an on-air reporter.
