Lucy Yang is a renowned American journalist who is best known as a general assignment reporter with Eyewitness News. She has worked as a general reporter with Eyewitness since 1993.
Yang has covered stories such as the subway firebombing, the scandal surrounding Princess Diana in London, and the Central Park murder. Prior to joining ABC7, Lucy spent four years as a reporter with WPVI-TV’s Action News in Philadelphia. Before WPVi-TV, she reported for WGLI-TV, The Long Island Report as well as writing and producing for the 10 o’clock news on WNEW-TV in New York.
She is a graduate of Princeton University with a B.A. in sociology. Yang is a general assignment reporter for WABC-TV in New York where she reports for the station’s 5,6, and 11 p.m broadcasts. She joined Eyewitness in 1993 as a general assignment reporter from WPIVI-TV’s Action News in Philadelphia where she was also a reporter.
