Luke Hill is a former defensive back player at St. John’s who withdrew during his junior year. Hill completed his high school career at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. According to our sources, Luke had offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma, Maryland, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. However, he settled for Oregon.
He later parted ways with the Ducks in April 2019 joining the University of Oregon in December. He is very lucky that he had over 20 scholarship offers. However, he parted ways with the Ducks months ago having no formal documents to Oregon. The program turned against Hill following several mentioned misconduct in February that was not related to his current charges of attempted murder.
According to Washingtonpost.com, Hill was arrested on Tuesday and charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault. The former high school player in the district was committed to playing this year at the University of Oregon before his arrest.
However, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County Police Department termed the case as a typical Misdemeanor as the intended target was not hurt and that was not a random act.

The intended target said he was out playing basketball when a white car with tinted windows pulled up and someone from the inside started shooting at him. The Victim’s mother heard the shots while pulling into the driveway and saw the vehicle. Luckily, their neighbor filmed the car fleeing the scene of the incident.
According to ESPN, the target is reported to be Ishmael Legget, Hill’s former classmate at St. John’s College High School. Legget was committed to playing basketball at the University of Rhode Island.
According to the charge sheet, the target further explained that his girlfriend had been getting threatening calls from Hill about her current relationship. Luke was not happy about the relationship more so a photo she posted on her social media. Anyway, why don’t people let their exes have a life too? Love estranged.
