Biltz enrolled at Kansas Newman College in 1975 and became interested in Judaic studies. He soon left the Roman Catholic Church to study evangelism. Biltz relocated to Washington State in 1987 to work as an administrative teacher at South King County Bible College in Seattle, Washington.
In 2008, Biltz began researching an imagined phenomenon he dubbed the “Blood Moon,” combining NASA data with the Hebrew calendar and the current State of Israel. Since then, he’s been christened “Blood Moons Biltz” and “the Blood Moons Pastor.” He hosts his own show on the PTL TV Network entitled Discovering the Ancient Paths.
