Markova Reed is an American journalist who is famous for having worked as a reporter and news anchor at WREG. She joined the station in 2002. She anchored both the morning and noon newscasts.
Born in Memphis, Reed attended West Memphis Senior High School. She then joined the University of Memphis where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Currently, she is an active member of society and is a member of the Memphis Association of Black Journalists.
In addition, she is a member of the Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church and a member of an organization called the Memphis Chapter of Link Sisters. Furthermore, she contributed to magazines such as Highlights, Weekly Reader, and National Geographic.
