Megan Henderson Biography
Megan Henderson is an American journalist who is currently working as the weekday morning anchor of the 4 am to 7 am KTLA News in Los Angeles. She’s excited to be a part of the show she grew up watching. Henderson joined the KTLA team back in March of 2019.
Prior to joining KTLA, Henderson was the host of the #1 rated morning show Good Day at the Fox affiliate KDFW in Dallas and Fox’s Good Day Utah at KSTU in Salt Lake City. In addition, she also guest-hosted several episodes of the Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends Weekend in 2008.
For her education, Henderson went to Arizona State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. Henderson started her broadcast career in Wichita Falls, Texas, doing everything from reporting, anchoring, editing, and producing.
From there, she headed to Salt Lake City where she reported and anchored for Fox’s “Good Day Utah.” Later on, she moved to Dallas to host Fox’s top-rated morning show “Good Day” at KDFW-TV. Henderson as well as traveled to New York City on several occasions to guest-host “Fox and Friends Weekend” on Fox News Channel.
In her career, she has made supporting several philanthropic causes a priority. Moreover, she is actively involved with UNICEF USA, the Watts Youth Empowerment Center, and the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking with her dog Baxter and sleeping in.
