Megan Shaw is a Canadian journalist who is currently working as an anchor and reporter at CTV News Ottawa. She anchors CTV News at 11:30 p.m. Shaw arrived at the station back in 2015 and within a short time, she was a trusted voice in Ottawa. Being an experienced multi-skilled journalist, she reports, writes, produces, and anchors at CTV News Ottawa.
Talking about her education, she attended and graduated from Carleton University with a Master of Journalism degree. She also holds an honors BA in English and Communication, Media, and Films Studies from the University of Windsor. Furthermore, she attended Seneca College in a Broadcast Journalism program. Shaw is fluent in both English and French.
After she was done with her studies, Shaw started out at home working for AM800 CKLW radio. After here, she interned at CTV News Toronto and talked, before accepting a position as a reporter and anchor at Peace River Broadcasting. Later, she moved to a large market, joining the team at CityNews Edmonton. In 2015, she returned to Ontario and joined CTV News Ottawa. When not working she loves spending time with family or friends.
