Megan Wise is an American Emmy-award-winning meteorologist for NBC12 News in Richmond, Virginia. A Pittsburgh native, Megan attended Choctawhatchee High School and later graduated from the Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Meteorology.
Prior to joining NBC12 in November 2015, Megan was the weekend evening meteorologist and solo evening anchor and producer at WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In addition, she was the host of “Megan Wise Goes Outside” where she did everything from caving to hang gliding.
Wise started her career at KTVO-TV in Kirksville, Missouri as the station’s morning meteorologist and fill-in morning anchor/producer. When she is not broadcasting, Megan is probably golfing, cheering on the Steelers, Pens, and Pirates, or hanging out with her Labrador retriever, Boss.
