Melissa Bell is a renowned American journalist who is currently working as a correspondent for CNN, based in the network’s Paris bureau. She joined the station in October 2016. In addition, Bell had previously contributed to many of CNN’s reports, including the Charlie Hebdo and Bataclan concert hall terrorist attacks, the Bastille Day attack in Nice, and the Mali hotel siege.
Melissa joined the CNN network from France 24, where she worked as a political editor. Later on, she was promoted to international affairs editor and correspondent. Furthermore, Bell has a wide knowledge of Africa as well as the Arab world. Moreover, she has covered most major news stories for the station’s English and French-speaking channels.
