Melissa Peterman is an American actress and comedian who first gained fame for playing the role of Barbra Jean in the famous comedy series called Reba. She also rose to fame for portraying Bonnie Wheeler’s role on ABC’s and Freeform’s Baby Daddy. Melissa has also landed various roles in TV series and films like Young Sheldon, Bet on Your Baby, and CMT’s The Singing Bee. Her most recent roles are in other shows and movies like Reba McEntire’s The Hammer (2023), Last Man Standing (2019 to 2020), and Sydney to the Max (2019 to 2020).
Peterman was born and raised by a working-class family living in Edina, Minnesota, USA. She grew up as the only child in her family.
