Michael Doudna is an American reporter and multi-skilled journalist currently working at 12 News. He joined the station in June 2018 after serving as the political reporter leading statewide coverage across four stations in Alabama: WBRC-Birmingham, WAFF-Huntsville, WSFA-Montgomery, and WTVM-Columbus.
During his tenure in Alabama, Doudna spearheaded several high-profile political stories with national implications such as Gov.Robert Bentley’s resignation and the Roy Moore Scandal. Previously he reported and anchored for KOMT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri.
Michael graduated with honors and an “A” from Milton High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. Later on, he attended and graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism Radio, and Television.
