Michael Malarkey Biography
Michael Karim Malarkey is a British-American actor and musician who is well-known for his role as Enzo in the series The Vampire Diaries. Moreover, Malarkey has also been featured in various TV shows and film ventures such as Ghost in the Machine, The Oath, and Project Blue Book. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon but raised in Yellow Springs, Ohio. His father is Irish American while his mother is British.
Unfortunately, there is no information about where he attended high school or even University. However, he went to England to study in London at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). After that, he began his career on the stage in London by appearing in various theatre productions, such as Beyond The Horizon at Royal National Theatre. Afterward, Malarkey landed his role as Lorenzo “Enzo” St. John in the supernatural television drama series The Vampire Diaries. For his role in the series, he become widely recognized. As a musician, he released his full-length record, called Mongrels on September 8, 2017, accompanied by music videos for singles Uncomfortably Numb and Mongrels.

That same year, Karim also appeared in the diverse TV show Jean-Claude Van Johnson as ‘Dizel’. Likewise, he starred as ‘Sam Foster’ in The Oath for Crackle and in the film A Violent Separation as ‘Snap Barton’. In addition to that, he was also cast as Captain Michael Quinn in Project Blue Book for The History Channel. As of 2020, he released his second album titled Graveracer.
Prior to that, he also starred in a recurring role as Deputy Harvey in the series Big Sky as well as Emmett in the film Westworld. In 2022, he was cast as Cole in one episode of Quantum Leap, and this year he appeared as Seamus O’Meara in three episodes of Law & Order: Organized Crime.
