Michelle Gingras is an American journalist who is currently working as a reporter and host for MSG Networks. Prior to starting her career in broadcast journalism, she was a student at Loyola University in New Orleans. There she fostered her passion for journalism by working for an award-winning student-run newspaper called the Loyola Maroon.
Gingras attended and graduated from Tampa Catholic High School. She joined this school in 2004 and graduated in 2008. In the same year, she joined Loyola University New Orleans and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism. In 2017, she joined Purdue University where she pursued a Master’s of Science in Strategic Communication and Public Relations.
Prior to her current roles, she served as a host and reporter for Yahoo! She served the network for 2 years and 1 month, from October 2018 to October 2020. Before that, she was a college football reporter for beIN Media Group in Miami, Florida. She served there for 5 months, from August 2017 to December 2017. She also worked as a sports host and anchor for OneUp Sports in Greater New York City. This was from September 2016 to February 2017.
In October of 2020, she joined Verizon Media in Greater New York City Area. She has since been working here as a sports host ever. Additionally, she works at Red Bull Soccer as a host and reporter. She joined the network in February 2018.
